Hi, I'm Cory

I've spent the last decade helping people build and discover the tools and confidence they need to live an aligned life. And I've done my homework.

I'm a former monk

I spent 6 months in Myanmar, in silence, practicing Vipassana meditation 14-20 hours each day. Soon after, I was ordained as a monk in 2012 under the late Sayadaw U Pandita within the Mahasi lineage of the Theravada tradition.

I'm an educator

I have an MAPP in Positive Psychology, the University of Pennsylvania and was on the teaching faculty at Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. I am also an active keynote speaker for businesses and for higher-ed.

I'm a practitioner

I am certified in a variety of personal inquiry practices: 200-hour hatha yoga training, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Breathworks Chronic Pain, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and more.
